MB7IBK is no more due to an NOV change. MB6BT is the replacement.
Analog Voice Gateway
MB7IBK is a 2M simplex gateway located in Broadstairs, Kent. It is connected to the AllStar and Echolink networks.
The gateway consists of a 20 Amp switch mode PSU modified to run at 13.8v, a Motorola GM340 VHF radio, a USB to radio interface FOB made by Alan M0AQC and a Raspberry Pi2. The entire node is mounted on a 19″ 1U rackmount shelf. The antenna is a basic dipole mounted at 30′ with an output of 1W ERP.
Local users can access the gateway on 145.2125Mhz using a CTCSS tone of 103.5Hz.
The gateway is usually connected to HUBNet UK which is quite active. There is a handy pocket reference available on the resources page.
