Remote HF TRX station for young licence holders

TRIG is proud to provide a UK first. A public, free to use remote HF TRX station for licence holders under the age of 21.

This station, supported by the ARDC and Remote Ham Radio allows all young licence holders access to the HF bands via a tablet or computer so they can experience amatuer radio without any cost implications. Accessed via the excellent and easy to use Remote Ham Radio platform, this station consists of a Flex radio, a fan dipole for 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m plus a rotatable dipole for 40, 30, 20 ,17 ,15 ,12 ,10 and 6m (currently in testing).

This station is currently being beta tested by a group of young licence holders. Public sign ups will open in January 2026 so watch this space for more information.
